Class Policies and Registration
We offer a variety of classes in store at the Quilted Moose, as well as special workshops with local, national and occasionally international teachers at our retreat center. Call the shop for our regular classes’ availability. You can also check out our events page for workshops.Space is reserved on a first come first served basis.
Class fees are due when registering over the phone or in person.
Please register as soon as possible to ensure your place in a class and you won’t be disappointed. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have minimum enrollment. If we cancel, you will receive a refund. If you cannot attend a class you've registered for, cancellation must be made 7 days prior to the first session to receive a refund. Cancellation policies differ for workshops hosted at our Minglewood Lodge with national or international teachers. Those policies will be available with each workshop description.
Open Sew Friday
Are you cutting out a certain project, sewing on a binding, piecing blocks, or starting something new? Bring your project and a friend with you to enjoy a fun creative atmosphere while working towards finishing that one project.

Free Hand/Free Motion Quilting Workshop
Are you ready to drop your feed dogs and learn the basics of free motion quilting? Local artist, Betty Cook, will take you through the steps to learn how to begin your journey of quilting your projects.?? Betty will help you learn stitching skills, help you gain confidence and teach you her method of marking your design.?? You will spend the day working on techniques which will be used in the final project, a frosty themed table runner designed especially for this class by Betty.

We've all been there. The big blue and yellow home store that has those huge blue bags at their register that you can purchase to carry all your treasures home. We love it's size. We love it's practicality. But we've always been a fan of beautiful things that function well so we set out to create an alternative bag that delivers all the practicality of the original but all the style of a one of a kind bag. A quick and easy sew, it also offers three sizes for when you don't necessarily need a HUGE bag but you still want to carry your treasures in style.
