We’re Back and We Have a New Challenge For You!

Hello Friends!

Due to some technical issues that happened when we moved the site to a new host we weren’t able to post the last couple of weeks… I missed you guys! Thank you all so much for the love and appreciation you’ve shown when you come into the shop and mention that you are loving the blog posts… I love writing them!

Now that we’re back up and running Debbie wanted me to share with you the new Challenge the Moose is hosting! If you remember, or took part in, last year’s Red and White Quilt Challenge then you’ll be familiar with the challenge (and if not, you can click HERE to see our original post on the Red and White Challenge).  We had so much fun with that challenge and the response to the Martingale Red and White Book was so great that we thought it would be fun to celebrate Debbie’s participation in the NEW Martingale Blue and White Quilt Book by hosting another challenge! Here’s a sneak peak of Bliss, Debbie’s new quilt design.

The rules and requirements are the same:

Rule #1 – The fabrics in the quilt must be blue and white and/or blue and cream/tan (no other) colors.

Rule #2 – Your quilt must be a finished quilt; ie quilted with binding attached.

Rule #3 – Include a label on the back of the quilt with the name of the quilt and your name.

Rule #4 – Your project must be no smaller than 20″ x 20″

That’s it!  Pretty simple.

Of course we’ll be hosting another Blue and White Quilt show to showcase all of your wonderful creations, so be sure to have them finished and in to us by January 2, 2020.

If you need some inspiration, here are a few photos of the blue and white quilts that make me giddy and ready to sew! lol OR you can come into the Moose and take a look at our curated blue and white bundles, books and patterns we have available to get you started.

And don’t forget, this would be a perfect reason for you to create that quilt you just haven’t made time for yet, or the one in which to use some of those blue, white and cream fabrics you’ve have been collecting. There’s no stress… this isn’t a show that’s judged, we all started somewhere (heck, I just started this past year!). But, it’s a great opportunity to set a goal for yourself, create something beautiful and then get a chance to show off all your hard work!

As in the Red and White show, we will accept a blue and white quilt made previously or an antique quilt.

I hope that many of you will join us in this fun challenge, we’ll be posting more updates on the challenge with details of the show etc., so keep an eye out for them and if you have any questions at all we’re here to help, so call or stop on by to see us in person!

Until next week my friends…
